L'altre dia vaig comprar la meravellosa caixa de cavalleria pesada francesa de Perry. Vaig decidir que 10 figures formarien el 3r Provisional Francès i les altres 4 les vaig reorganitzar en el regiment de Coraceros Españoles.
Aquest regiment va ser format a Reus (Tarragona) al 1810 amb uniformes anglesos i cascs i cuirasses franceses capturades al 3er Provisional al combat que va tenir lloc a Mollet del Vallès.
Es van formar dos esquadrons amb genets dels regiments d'hússars de Granada i d'Olivenza.
El regiment va combatre en nombroses accions durant la guerra. Al proper post posaré la història completa del regiment
Les miniatures han estat pintades amb vallejo i "Quicksghade Strongtone" de "The Army Painter". Les miniatures encara es veuen brillants perquè no els he aplicat el vernís "Antishine" però tot arribarà.

Perry Alternatives (I). Coraceros Españoles.
I bought a box of French Heavy Cavalry from Perry to make the French 3rd Provisional Cuirassier Regiment. I only used 10 of the miniatures and the other 4 were reorganized into the "Coraceros Espanoles" regiment.
This regiment was raised in 1810 in Reus (Tarragona) with british uniforms and equipment taken to the french after the battle at Mollet del Vallès. The regiment had two squadrons and the troopers were from Granada Hussars and Olivenza regiments.
It fought in many actions during the war. i will post the regimental history soon.

The miniatures have been painted with vallejo and Quickshade strong tone from The Army Painter. They look glossy because I still don't have the antishine varnish.
